10th, 11th Nov progress... ...

10th Nov 2006, Friday
Today equipping time started at 0900hrs, went thru the "Red Book" and the lesson on prayer by Danny. The Red Book really deepens our convictions in the Gospel of Christ as we continue to read and study about all the prophecies and proofs in world history that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ really existed. For the book study on Spiritual Discipline, we learnt that prayer is CENTRAL in our christian life, being co-labourers with God and that we also know that we can pray "wrongly". We look to Jesus for example and we also learnt that a spiritual warfare is on-going.

Lunch at campus, interesting one as we ate on the move this time. Saw P' Tai at the campus as well as she is teaching at Payap University. Had a good chat with her and we be visiting her class somewhere end of next week to interact with her students (Oi is one of them, hee hee). Really thank God for this group of guy students we met on campus, they were at least open to talk to us and even played chess with us for about 2 hours. They are the "ah beng" type who smokes and drink, they even ask us to go to a pub with them. We declined of course but thank God for their openess and willingness. We arranged to play soccer with them on Monday evening, pray for them and for us as well.

Went up Doi Sutep in the evening, wonderful singing at the back of the truck as per norm, great view up there too. Had a short Devo before coming back to the zone.

11th Nov 2006, Saturday
Equipping time at nine as the norm. When thru the "Red Book" and today we affirm ourselves that Chirst indeed has died and ROSE FROM THE DEAD. More prophecies and proofs as well. P' Robert need to go pick up his son from his soccer game as his wife was occupied with work. We continued on our studies on fasting without him today, Basil taught today lesson. Lesson on fasting was very practical and we realised that fasting is a discipline that we should not neglect any longer as it is a mean of God's grace and blessing.

Lunch at Branson favourite noodle shop that sells pink noodles, and back to the zone as Jenny uncle was there and wanted to talk to P' Robert. Thank God for the work of God in Jenny life, she was only brought to the Zone two days before Danny last trip. In this short span time she has brougth friends and even relatives to the zone look around and is currently going thru the "Red Book". Pray that one day she will make the decision to join us in the family of God.

Time of relaxation and fellowship and went to a high school concert after dinner...
