Into His Presence
Hey everyone, the three interns here. If you haven't checked out the update for yesterday, then you can check it out in the previous posts.
Today, we followed P. Robert to P. Shaun's house. P. Shaun is a missionary in Chiang Mai too. P. Robert, P. Shaun and P. David have been friends for at least 13 years now. And they meet regularly to share about issues. This morning we got the opportunity to sit in on one of their meetings. We learnt that it was really important to have people that you can trust and confide in and be accountable to. It was a good experience.
After the meeting, the three interns and P. Robert headed to eat khaow soi. Little, Poi, Titan, Woot met us for lunch. Well, if you don't know what khaow soi is, just know that it is "aroy mak" (very delicious).
We headed back to the zone after lunch and prepared our sharing with P. Robert on the Spiritual disciplines book. The sharing was great. We did two chapters "Into His Presence" and "Burning to be With Him".
After the sharing, we hung out with the Thais in the zone until it was time for dinner. After dinner, we gathered together. Danny, Kenneth and Kevin were asked to give their life story. After which the Thais would pray for each of us.
When the gathering was over, P. Robert treated us to Dairy Queen ice-cream. When we got back to the zone, some of us started singing. It was a good time of fellowship.
