A Day of Bests
Three more days till the mission exposure group from Japan arrives. Danny, Kenneth and Kevin are looking forward to working with them.
We started the day with the best noodles in Chiang Mai, or so Titan says. Titan took the effort to drive us interns for lunch. We didn't know what to expect. The noodles in Chiang Mai are aroy mak (very delicious). But Titan might be right in saying that his recommendation is the best. The noodles were aroy mak mak (very very delicious). We all had second helpings.
After lunch, we headed to the market. Not to buy fish or vegetables, but to get pork skin. Pork skin is like crackers, crispy and good to eat. Not anything like the name suggests. We also got a Thai dessert on the way back. Mango and sticky rice. Probably the best dessert in Thailand.
We came back to the zone, and hung out with the Thais. P. Robert drove us to Airport Plaza (a mall near the International Airport). We watched "Snakes on a Plane". Won't go into the details and spoil it for you, but it's a good movie.
We had dinner in Airport Plaza. When we first saw the place we were going to eat at, we thought that it was Marche. The layout was quite similar. Same same but different. We had good fellowship time with the Thais.
P. Robert had a dinner to attend, so we took a road dang (red truck) back to the zone. The road dang is a form of public transport in Chiang Mai.
Back at the zone, we played a new card game, Swap. Then we felt like stretching our bodies a little. So we ended playing Twister. We were all perspiring after that. Then we played Spoons later on. Spoons is a game that is similar to Heart Attack. Kenneth and Oan ended up having to do a forfeit, dance.
Now Kevin is updating this blog and Kenneth is sleeping. Guess Danny and Kevin should go to sleep soon. Especially since there is church tommorow.
