Celebration

Today was a great day of fellowship.

Danny, Kenneth and Kevin got up early for worship. The worship was a little different than at home. For one it was all in Thai. But we were blessed by the presence of P. Took, who translated for us. Of course there were similarities, like singing and communion and a sermon.

After worship, we had bible class. P. Robert printed a booklet on the Gospel of Mark. He facilitated the lesson. The good thing was that people could give their views. It wasn't a one way "sermon", but a structured discussion.

When bible class ended, we all headed to the chicken rice some good food for the church members.

There is one thing that we like about the church at Payap. The way they treasure fellowship. Fellowship may come in many ways, for example, singing, eating, or playing games together. And the Payap members take time after church for fellowship.

Today Danny, Kenneth and Kevin taught the Thais the song "Awesome God". The extended version of it. And we also tried to learn a Japanese song that "The Offering", from Sendai Japan, sang during their concert.

After that, we had more fellowship at the zone. At around 5pm, we set off for seafood katat (not sure about the spelling). Well, it's very similar to Seoul Garden, except that it's seafood. The special occasion was that it was P. Ying's (one of the Thai's) spiritual birthday. So we celebrated with her.
