Reach Out
Even though Danny's birthday is drawing to a close, Kenneth and Kevin still wanna wish him a happy birthday!
The three interns started their day with a time of praise and prayer. We joined the Japanese group in singing praises to God. And we all had quiet time after that. It was good to start the day with personal time with God.
When we got back from quiet time, P. Robert gave us a lesson on John 1:25-32. His main focus was that we all had a story to tell. And that we shouldn't be afraid to share it. P. Robert got us to split into pairs and tell each other our stories of faith. It was great.
After the equipping time, we headed to the Payap canteen for lunch. We sat down beside Thai students trying to get them to come to the zone. All in all we had good experiences in outreach.
When we were done with our food, we continued to tour the campus for outreach. We were amazed by the Japanese's willingness to share. They started giving out Japanese snacks to people they passed by and tried to start conversations.
The three interns had to go back to the zone earlier. This was so that we could do our Spiritual discipline sharing. Danny did a good job facilitating. The spiritual discipline for today is fasting. Here's a quote that we came across: "Biblical fasting is not to gain power or improve our looks. It is always centered on spiritual purposes."
After the sharing with P. Robert, we headed down to have fellowship with the Thais and Japanese. Danny went for a meeting about tomorrow's trip to Mc Kean hospital. Kenneth and Kevin had a fun time playing games with the Japanese. And after that, the Japanese taught us a few songs.
We headed to Carrefour for dinner.
