Pray and teach
Hey everyone, today's post contains updates on two days.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2006
Today we woke up early for church. We prepared ourselves for church. Worship was great today. Songs of praise, a good sermon, communion, children's blessing, offering... these just brought us into the presence of God.
After worship, we had bible class. The three interns were quite nervous at this time. Danny, Kenneth and Kevin had to teach the bible class. We taught on 1 Corinthians 13. We all had to stand up in front of everyone to teach. It was similar to giving a sermon. Danny did a good job especially since it was his first time speaking like this.
We did our Spiritual disciplines sharing in P. Robert's truck today. Something new. We were on our way to the airport to fetch Admen and his family. Danny facilitated on the discipline of solitude today. The quote of the day: "Think how much better it would be to have a direction that has been set by communion with the divine Center."
We met Admen and his family at the airport.
We got back to the zone and rested. The Japanese group went to take traditional Thai pictures in the afternoon. The three interns were just too tired.
We met the Japanese group at the night bazaar later on. And we had good fellowship at starbucks. We met people from Cheung Doi church. It was a nice surprise to meet them there.

After church, we all stayed back and had fellowship with the christians at Payap. Then we went to the night bazaar and some people got a massage. The rest shopped at the night bazaar or hung out at starbucks. After that, we headed to airport plaza for dinner.

We slept early and woke up late today. We stayed till around 3am to prepare our sharing for the prayer walk today. We woke up at 5.10am when we were supposed to meet the group at 5am. Not a good start to the day.
However, the prayer walk was great. We all had a great time praying to the Lord. We spent 3 hours just walking and talking to God.
P. Robert, the three interns, Rebecca, Rumiko, and Sara shared during the prayer walk. After the prayer walk we all felt re-energized.
When we got back to the Payap zone, Danny, Kenneth and Kevin went to prepare for the Spiritual disciplines sharing while the Japanese group visited the Japanese class in Payap University. We did our Spiritual disciplines sharing in P.
