Sayonara

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2006

We started the day with a devotional session with the Japanese group. We sang a few songs of praise. Then P. Shaun, a missionary, shared with us. The equipping time was good.

After the equipping time, the three interns had a Spiritual disciplines sharing session with P. Robert. The spiritual discipline was submission. A good quote: " Submission can free us to distinguish between genuine issues and stubborn self-will."
We helped the Japanese to cook Japanese food after the sharing. We all had fun preparing the food.

We had a great dinner. The food was delicious. We really have to thank the Japanese for the good food.

We woke up early today. We left for Doi Suthep for a morning devotional. The devotional was great and we were surrounded by nature when we sang praises. P. David, a missionary, then shared with us.

After the devotional, we went to a university beside Cheung Doi church. We spoke to some of the students there and tried to get them to go to Cheung Doi for English classes.

When we got back to the zone. We had our daily Spiritual disciplines sharing with P. Robert. The Spiritual discipline today is service. The quote of the day is: "The purpose of authority is function not status."
The Japanese got packed their bags and got ready to leave. They had their last meal, in Chiang Mai, near the zone.

Then it was time to head to the airport.

There were farewells and some weeping at the airport. We made full use of the time to spend time with the Japanese. This might be the last time we see them. But we hope that they make a trip to Singapore one day.
